The technologies offered on elearning websites cover a wide range, from simple to sophisticated: Virtual classroom software, screen-sharing software, buttons for raising your hand (yes, seriously) and all kinds of other bells and whistles.

In my experience good learning technology is a technology that gets out of the way of learning!

Only something deceptively simple can fulfill this need. But there’s no need to re-invent the wheel.

Did you know that there’s a software which more than 500 million people already use all over the world, which is so simple yet powerful that both children and grannies use it- and that it is actually perfect for learning languages?

I’m talking about Skype, of course. It has got all the features you need for having a great experience. And – no, we’re not getting paid to say this :)

So, I guess this is to say: Don’t worry about the technology. Just go for it!
